Duel - Announce European Tour 2016

HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS Records&Booking
is proud to announce the European Tour for DUEL.
Duel is heavy psychedelic stoner doom metal from Austin, Texas. Hugely influenced by the darker sounds of early 70’s Proto-metal. Features two ex Scorpion Child (Nuclear Blast)members. Their sound is menacing and brutally old school. Total purists, their tunes cut right to the bone with heavy, deep groove and blistering tone. Tough and Loud! Hard rock as it should be!

Mammothwing - Morning Light (2015)

MAMMOTHWING were formed under the blood red moon of summer solstice 2013.
Coming from a blues/doom/psych background, the strange sounds of brothers Marty Fisher (guitar + vocals) and Billy Fisher (bass + vocals) melded perfectly with the trancelike grooves of Kev Richardson Jr (drums).
In the centre of Nottingham, England, their self built studio ‘The Room of Doom’ was to be home to sonic experimentation and debauchery. Improvised jams flowed into full tilt rock. No two shows were the same. People listened, people cried.

Mothership - Live Over Freak Valley (2016)

After the rerelease of their momentous second album and a storming start to 2015, Mothership – the hard rocking supersonic/intergalactic Texan trio – have today unleashed their brand new live album, Live Over Freak Valley on Ripple Music.
Recorded at their debut European appearance at the iconic German rock festival, brothers Kyle and Kelly Juett along with Judge Smith have captured their steaming hot stew of UFO and Iron Maiden inspired metal; southern Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top swagger, and deathly Sabbathian doom. A concoction that should by all accounts prove too heavy to handle on record, but as fans will soon discover, Live Over Freak Valley will deliver the filth and fury of the full Mothership live experience.

Egypt - Endless Flight (2015)

It is not long into Endless Flight before Egypt let the listener know what’s up. 10 seconds, maybe? In any case, it’s about a minute before they’re into the first verse of the opener and longest track (immediate points), “Endless Flight,” and in very short order the North Dakotan trio affirm the righteousness of their rolling, bluesy grooves, the hairiness of their tonality and the thickness of their approach overall, hearkening to the glory days of Man’s Ruin Records‘ stoner-is-as-stoner-does idolatry without sounding rehashed or forced in any way. At six tracks/35 minutes, Endless Flight is in fact a pretty short sojourn, but it’s intended to receive a companion piece sometime in 2016, the songs from which as I understand it will at least largely be fruit of the same writing sessions. -
